Arctic Monkeys meet Queens of the Stone Age?

|

We’ve known for a while that Arctic Monkeys are at work on a follow-up to Favourite Worst Nightmare, but we now have first real news on the new album—and, well, it’s kinda unexpected. |

Having wrapped up their "Duluth Tour" of America's smaller cities like Missoula, Mont. (home of the Testicle Festival) and Fargo, N.D. (home of fictional sociopaths), Queens of the Stone Age have already headed out to fulfull a medium-to-large city schedule. Delivering the live goods to promote their latest album, Era Vulgaris, the Queens will share a stage with Louisiana band Dax Riggs through September and Scottish group Biffy Clyro through October.
