Ilegal Mezcal Presents the Paste Party in Austin, March 12-14, Featuring 48 Awesome Bands

For the fourth year in a row, Paste is partnering with Ilegal Mezcal to bring a free three-day party to Austin, Texas. The 2025 edition will once again take place at High Noon in East Austin, from 12-7pm during the SXSW Music Festival. RSVP here.
Acts performing this year have come in all the way from Australia (Dope Lemon, Delivery, Hachiku, Radio Free Alice, Stella Bridie), the U.K. (Honeyglaze, Maruja, mary in the junkyard) and Ireland (Soda Blonde, M(h)aol) and Canada (Billianne). They include past and future Paste Best of What’s Next artists and established bands like New York’s Sunflower Bean and Athens, Ga. legends Five Eight. As always, it’s a lineup that we’ve put together selfishly so that we get to see all the artists we’re most excited about.
We’ll be announcing the full schedule soon, but confirmed acts so far include Baths, Big Girl, Billianne, Brennan Wedl, Cardinals, Dead Gowns, Delivery, Dope Lemon, Draag, Dutch Interior, fantasy of a broken heart, Fashion Club, Five Eight, Glom, Hachiku, Honeyglaze, Humbird, Ken Pomeroy, Lily Seabird, M(h)aol, Maruja, mary in the junkyard, Monobloc, Palmyra, Radio Free Alice, Sierra Spirit, Soda Blonde, Spencer Peppet (The Ophelias), Stella Bridie and Sunflower Bean—plus a couple of surprise special guests.
We’re excited to partner again with our friends at Ilegal Mezcal for their renowned Bar Ilegal experience! Join us for free brand activations for those 21+, including live chainstitching by Jada & Jon and flash tattoos by Lindley Weaver. Enjoy Ilegal Mezcal’s aged mezcal and signature cocktails crafted by Global Brand Ambassador Gilbert Marquez.
Priority entrance will be given to those with SXSW badges, but no worries if you don’t have one. Just RSVP using Freshtix to get in for free!
We’re also partnering with our friends at The A.V. Club to host a two-day party featuring interviews with actors, filmmakers and comedians, along with live music on March 8-9. You can RSVP for Ilegal Mezcal Presents A.V. Club’s Dialogues & Decibals here.
