Paderborn midfielder Moritz Stoppelkamp scored on a free kick clearance to seal the 2-0 victory over Hannover and send the newly promoted Bundesliga side to the top of the table.
Hannover goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler came up for the late free kick to try for an equalizer. When the ball came to Stoppelkamp at the edge of his own box, he had a wide open net to try for a mere 90 yards away. Piece of cake. What’s better – being lucky or being good? Yes.
