HAIM Premiere Two New Songs, Cover Prince at Tour Kick-Off

HAIM debuted two new songs last night at The Observatory in Santa Ana, Calif., the first stop of their U.S. tour. The sisters performed a funky, beat-infused tune called “Give Me Just a Little Bit of Your Love” and “Nothing’s Wrong,” a breezy rock song with a catchy chorus, much like the work of their first album, Days Are Gone.

HAIM first announced they were working on new material last fall, after they spent a good chunk of the year touring with Taylor Swift. In March, they tweeted a video teasing a new song, promising “NEW SONGS. NEW SHOW. THIS SUMMER.” No release date has been announced for their second album, but hopefully we’ll hear more of it in the next couple of months as they tour. Among the band’s tour dates are festival stops, too, including Governor’s Ball and Bonnaroo.

Along with the fresh “Give Me Just a Little Bit of Your Love” and “Nothing’s Wrong,” HAIM also covered Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U,” spinning the track with their signature harmonies. Check out videos of their new songs and the Prince cover below.
