While Christian Dior’s garments have never been known for their comfort and, shall we say, laissez-faire attitude, Raf Simons’s latest collection has infused a touch of generous ease to the familiar restrictive silhouettes. With above-the-knee minis aplenty and flip-flops paired with suits, a flippant and sometimes aloof attitude ran through the show, allowing for a Tinkerbell-esque air to permeate the collection. A playful take for Simons, it will be interesting to see where he brings Dior next.
