Watch Spoon’s Britt Daniel Cover “I Me Mine” In George Harrison Tribute

Last September, Dhani Harrison and David Zonshine put together a concert at LA’s Fonda Theatre called George Fest: A Night to Celebrate the Music of George Harrison. They were able to pull together an impressive lineup of musicians to pay tribute to Dhani’s father: Brian Wilson, Brandon Flowers, Norah Jones, The Flaming Lips and a ton of other renowned artists took part. It’s nice to see such a wide-reaching gesture of respect and appreciation for the ex-Beatle who was always overshadowed by Paul McCartney.
The full concert recording will be released in various audio/video configurations on Feb. 26 via Hot Records and Vagrant Records.
