Tig Notaro persists as one of the more unique voices in comedy, and that voice will be on full display this May when Netflix debuts her new hour-long stand-up special, Tig Notaro Happy to be Here, on May 22.

Notaro’s distinct mix of deadpan delivery, goofy observation and humanist resolution will be on full display as she ruminates on marriage, parenting and being invited to an Ellen DeGeneres party. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s even a big tease packed into the show closer.

Tig Notaro Happy to be Here, filmed at Houston’s Heights Theater, and directed and executive produced by Notaro herself, debuts on Netflix on May 22.
