Emma Watson Meets Harry Potter and the Cursed Child‘s Hermione, Noma Dumezweni, Says Play is “Amazing”

On Wednesday, Emma Watson, who played Hermione in the Harry Potter movie franchise, went backstage to meet the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, including Noma Dumezweni, who plays a grown-up Hermione Granger.

Following the meeting, Dumezweni tweeted:

Watson also watched the play, writing about it on her Facebook page.
“I came in with no idea what to expect and it was AMAZING,” Watson wrote on Facebook. “Some things about the play were, I think, possibly even more beautiful than the films. Having seen it I felt more connected to Hermione and the stories than I have since Deathly Hallows came out, which was such a gift.”
