Watch an Exclusive Trailer for Nore Davis’ Element: A Solo Show Film

Comedian Nore Davis will present his new film, Element: A Solo Show, with a series of live, short performances and Q&As in five cities starting next month. Davis will begin his tour of the film on July 4 at the Limelight Theater in Atlanta. The filmed show features Davis connecting and dialoguing with his “Inner Child,” dealing with topics including the death of his mother from ovarian cancer. 

“Through childhood trauma, I neglected and abandoned my inner child, but after intensive therapy since 2020,  I reconnected with my inner child and developed a new, playful, joyous preservative while performing,” Davis said in a news release. “They say healing is hard, but I want to show it is challenging but also entertaining, rewarding, and healing.” 

The New York City-based Davis released his first comedy album, Home Game, in 2014. Four years later, he released Too Woke, an album recorded live at Union Hall in Brooklyn. That same year, he released the special, Nore Davis: You Guys Are Dope. He also made an appearance as a comedian in the second season of Succession. 

Following the appearance and screening in Atlanta, Davis will then perform at Littlefield in Brooklyn on July 14. Davis will then travel to The Elysian in Los Angeles (July 21), The Comedy Loft in Washington DC (August 4), and then finally Creek & The Cave in Austin on August 25.
