The Lonely Island, as made famous on Saturday Night Live, have announced their first-ever concert.
The comedy/music trio, consisting of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, had many of their SNL shorts go viral, including “I’m On A Boat” featuring T-Pain, and “YOLO” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Adam Levine. More recently, they were responsible for underrated pop music industry parody Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.
The Lonely Island will play their first show in a live setting at this year’s Clusterfest, the comedy festival put on by Comedy Central and Superfly.
The festival takes place in San Francisco on June 1-3 and its other headliners, revealed today, include Jon Stewart, Trevor Noah and Amy Schumer. Musical guests include Salt-N-Pepa, Third Eye Blind and Action Bronson.
