Test Your Pokémon GO Skills by Taking on Armored Mewtwo This Month

Because the only thing more intimidating than a mega-powerful Psychic-type is a mega-powerful Psychic-type with battle armor, Pokémon GO trainers looking for a challenge will soon have the chance to encounter a souped-up version of Mewtwo.

From July 10 at 4 p.m. ET to July 31 at 4 p.m. ET, players can battle Armored Mewtwo during five-star raids for the first time, Niantic announced Thursday.

Little is known about the mighty ‘mon’s stats, but trainers are also promised a new set of items available in the game’s Style Shop.

Armored Mewtwo will appear in five-star raids starting next Wednesday, July 10, at 4 p.m. ET, so steel yourselves, trainers. Check out the announcement video below.
