Along with the requisite VR headset, players will need a Windows-compatible guitar peripheral to play the game. The studio also confirmed three songs for the title in the forms of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way,” The Killers’ “When You Were Young” and Paramore’s “Ain’t It Fun.” Unlike in previous editions of the game, players will be able to experiment with different notes and strum speeds in part of an effort from Harmonix to better simulate live performance.
Last Thursday, Harmonix joined other developers in speaking out against the Trump administration’s immigration ban via a message shared on Twitter, which you can read about here. Again, Rock Band VR will be available for the Oculus Rift on March 23. Go ahead and check out today’s release date announcement trailer below.
