In a particularly jarring moment, Russia Today overtook C-SPAN’s feed this afternoon.

CSPAN released the following statement in response to the hack:

No word yet on whether our President-elect has “the cyber” under control, or if this was done by “someone sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds.” We’ll keep you posted of any new developments on this.
Note: An earlier version of the story was titled with an incorrect headline: Russia Today Hacked C-SPAN and Hijacked Their Feed for 10 Minutes. There is no evidence yet of a hack, and even though their feed was clearly compromised, it was irresponsible to suggest the method of how it became compromised.
