Listen to Caroline Polachek’s Reimagining of “Butterfly Net,” Featuring Weyes Blood

This morning, Caroline Polachek announced a deluxe-edition of her Grammy Award-nominated album, Desire, I Want To Turn Into You. The Everasking Edition is set to arrive on Valentine’s Day, one year after Polachek sent the original into the world. The deluxe set will include previous single “Dang,” along with today’s release: a re-worked version of “Butterfly Net,” this time featuring Polachek’s friend, touring partner and peer, Weyes Blood. Natalie Mering and Polachek form an incredible bond on the track, executing a victory lap of minimalist baroque pop brilliance. Where Polachek shined last year, Mering has now stepped in and revels in exquisite, unrivaled vocal ornateness.
