The industrial-rap collective from Sacramento also teased the album last year with the release of their 22-minute-long track, “Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix).” Year Of The Snitch will be Death Grips’ first studio album since their 2016’s surprise release of Bottomless Pit.
Death Grips reportedly leaked the album’s announcement through their own website. The news quickly spread throughout the Death Grips Reddit fan-page, prompting the rap-trio to issue this statement through their Twitter feed: “Someone snitched.”
