Devon Allman and Donovan Frankenreiter Plan World Record Tour

The duo will play 50 states in 49 days, breaking the official world record set back in 2003

Devon Allman and Donovan Frankenreiter Plan World Record Tour

There’s the world record for most massive world tour, Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road grossing $817,900,000. There’s the fastest time to play a concert on each continent—a record set by Rafael Serrallet in Mombasa, Kenya clocking in at 154 days and 22 hours. There’s the fastest time to play a concert in each of the 50 states, set at 50 days by Adam Brodsky in 2003. Devon Allman and Donovan Frankenreiter are striving to beat that last one by playing in all 50 states in just 49 days.

Allman and Frankenreiter plan to deliver a rock ’n’ roll performance in record time starting on August 5 with two shows in one day. The See It All Tour will launch in Maryland and Pennsylvania and finish up in California on September 22. The D&D team will be joined at various shows by Matt Andersen, JD Simo, Matt Costa, Davy Knowles, Mishka, Jackson Stokes and Goodnight Texas.

“I’ve had this idea in my back pocket for the better part of a decade,” shares Allman. “50 shows in the 50 United States in 50 days. I think growing up reading the World Record books, it’s just always been a fantasy to go after a world record. This undertaking is going to be really difficult, but very rewarding and I really found the perfect co-conspirator in Donavon Frankenreiter. We have been jamming together for years now and are quite simpatico…he is the perfect Evel to my Knievel.”

Allman and Frankenreiter first met at the Allman Family Revival tour and had always talked about partnering up. One morning, Allman called Frankenreiter about breaking a world record. A year later, they’re doing it.

“There’s no better way to see it all but by playing all 50 states in under 50 days and I couldn’t think of a better friend to do something this crazy with,” says Frankenreiter.

Pre-sale tickets for the See It All Tour will be available Wednesday, April 12th and Thursday, April 13th at 10am local time (pre-sale code: SEEITALL) For more information, visit www.devonanddonavon.com.
