Foals Announce Two New Albums Coming in 2019
Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost will be the band's first new music since 2015

The countdown is over, let the countdown begin.
After starting a timer on their Instagram story yesterday (Jan. 8) with the title “watch this space,” Foals have unveiled a short, eerie video to confirm plans for two full albums in 2019 under the title Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost. The 30-second clip includes imagery of a seemingly distressed person running through the snow, and another walking through the woods on fire (we believe it’s safe to assume that this person is also in some form of distress).
Although Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 1 and 2 are being announced as a dual project under the same moniker, the band confirms in response to an Instagram comment that these will be two distinct albums, as opposed to one cohesive album split into two parts:
This will be the Oxford band’s first new music since 2015’s What Went Down. This news also follows announcements of the band’s inclusion in a short string of festival dates (which can be found at the bottom of this post).
Considering a new Foals record was already one of Paste’s most anticipated albums of 2019, the news of two individual albums is quite the Wednesday morning gift.
