Lionlimb is a duo comprised of songwriter Stewart Bronaugh and drummer Joshua Jaeger. The two previously worked together backing Angel Olson on tour, and on her 2014 album Burn Your Fire for No Witness, but have now devoted themselves to a debut album, titled Shoo.
The album, which comes out March 4 on Bayonet Records, is supported by single “Domino,” a Bowie-inspired funk sound buttressed by brass and booming drum groove. The song shifts and swells across nearly four minutes propelled forward by Bronaugh’s ballad-built vocals.
