Chicago artist Noname announced via Twitter on Wednesday that her upcoming sophomore album Room 25 will be released “in a week or so.” The announcement comes following the end of her European tour.
It’s the third teaser tweet from the rapper. On Aug. 19, she tweeted that she was “out the country but as soon as I get back I’m dropping #Room25.”

Then, on Aug. 25, she teased the album again, adding that she thinks “it’s better than Telefone.”

Room 25 has been hotly anticipated following the critical and commercial success of Telefone, Noname’s 2016 debut. The new album’s release comes after Noname’s summer spent touring and playing the festival circuit, including performances at Hangout Fest and Pitchfork Music Festival.
