Pearl Jam Play Surprise Nashville Show, Jack White Joins Them
Photo by Jason Oxenham/GettyPearl Jam surprised fans by playing a show at Jack White’s Third Man Records in Nashville last night. The intimate show was only open to members of Pearl Jam’s Ten Club, with tickets going up for sale at a local record store only hours before. The band hinted at a surprise on Wednesday, when they tweeted that a limited edition poster for their 2016 Bonnaroo performance would be available at Grimey’s record store, along with “a special bonus” for 25 members of their fan club.
Come by @Grimeys tomorrow at 11am to purchase a #PJBonnaroo poster (ltd qty) + a special bonus for the first 25 10C members! #PJTour2016

The setlist consisted of 10 songs, beginning with a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive,” and continuing into “Corduroy,” “Pendulum,” “Mind Your Manners,” “½ Full” and “Life Wasted.” For the encore, Third Man founder White joined them onstage for “Of the Earth,” and the band completed the set with “Hard To Imagine” and “Let Me Sleep.”
The team at Third Man Records documented the evening on their Instagram page, and it appears that the set was recorded. It is rumored that the recording will be released on vinyl as a limited-edition album. Pearl Jam made the stop in Nashville on their way to Bonnaroo, where they are set to headline on Saturday.
