Richard Swift Tribute Shows to Feature James Mercer, Tim Heidecker, Nathaniel Rateliff, More

A pair of tribute concerts to the late Richard Swift have been announced, with the first taking place on Dec. 9 at Rough Trade New York, and the second on Dec. 13 at the Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles.

The shows, titled The Hex Performed by Family and Friends, will feature various musicians performing Swift’s posthumous final release, The Hex, one of Paste’s best albums of the year. The New York show will feature performances from Nathaniel Rateliff, Hamilton Leithauser, Cults, Valerie June and more, while the Los Angeles show will feature Cold War Kids, James Mercer, Tim Heidecker and Foxygen, amongst others. Proceeds from both shows will go to benefit Swift’s family.
