Watch Sleater-Kinney Make Their Formidable Late-Night Return on The Tonight Show

Sleater-Kinney made their late-night return on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday with a sleek performance of “Hurry On Home,” the lead single from their forthcoming album, The Center Won’t Hold.

Dressed in all black, the three-piece appeared formidable as they played in front of flickering projections of crawling hands, with vocalist Carrie Brownstein taking to striking arbitrary movements between every break in her strumming (perhaps taking hints from The Center Won’t Hold producer St. Vincent).

Last week, the band confirmed details of their tenth studio album, set to arrive Aug. 16 via Mom + Pop, and released its second single. You can revisit the album details and the band’s newly announced tour dates right here.
