Thao & The Get Down Stay Down have been all over the festival scene this summer, landing slots at big events like Outside Lands in addition to a slew of North American tour dates. Thao Nguyen got the chance to slow things down for the cameras, though, with this stripped-down performance of “Holy Roller,” a track from the recently released We The Common.

With just a banjo, the focus is all on Nguyen, giving the vocals along with the eloquent lyrics a chance in the spotlight.
