Watch: The Melvins Appear on Cartoon Network’s Uncle Grandpa as Animated Characters

With a new album out on Sub Pop Records and a summer tour, The Melvins are up to something good this year. The iconic rockers are also slated to make an appearance on Cartoon Network’s “Uncle Grandpa” as animated versions of themselves.

In the episode, Lizzy finds herself at a loss when her band bails on her a few hours before the talent show, but not to worry: the eccentric Uncle Grandpa knows “just the two guys” to help her out. Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover then enter the animated world, as an ecstatic Lizzie gushes over them and asks if they can join her band.
