After announcing a U.K.-exclusive headlining appearance from The National at the new 10-day music festival, All Points East, several new acts have also joined the bill.
On June 2, The National will be playing their only U.K. show of 2018 as part of the second weekend of the inaugural All Points East festival, alongside previously announced acts including The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Warpaint and The Districts. New additions to the bill include Cat Power, Public Service Broadcasting, Broken Social Scene, Spoon, Amber Run, This Is The Kit and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam.
One of the newly added acts, Public Service Broadcasting say, “We can’t wait for this show—we all love The National and have been fans for over a decade now—and what an honour to join such an incredible lineup. See you in June!”
The show will take place in London’s Victoria Park and it will be The National’s largest headlining show to date.
The new ten-day event All Points East encompasses a three-day music festival including headliners LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Bjork, followed by a four-day community-focused program. The event culminates in three huge shows, with Catfish and The Bottlemen topping the bill on June 1, The National headlining on June 2 and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds headlining the event on June 3.
