The Romany Rye – Hold the Ones You Love

The Romany Rye plays the sort of timeless music that reminds one of dusty road trips and lofty mountain peaks. With the songs of founder Luke MacMaster as their centerpiece, the band adds subtle instrumentation and warm, enveloping vocal harmonies to create a sound that is sometimes sparse, sometimes dense, but always beckons this listener closer. Upon their visit to the Vault, the band needed only a couple guitars, a piano and their voices to create one of our most intimate sessions to date.
