U2 Unveil New Song, “You Are the Best Thing About Me”: Listen
The second track we've heard from forthcoming album Songs of Experience.
U2 have released another single from their upcoming album, Songs of Experience. “You Are the Best Thing About Me” is bright, midtempo rocker, with the Edge’s guitar out front and a classic Bono refrain: “I’m the kind of trouble that you enjoy.”
“You Are the Best Thing About Me” is the second song we’ve heard from Songs of Experience. Last week, U2 live-streamed via Facebook a performance video of lead single “The Blackout.”
This is the first music we’re hearing from the band since their previous album, Songs of Innocence, magically appeared in our iTunes libraries in 2014, leading many to wonder whether they had “blacked out” while downloading it.
