Protesters Are Flooding D.C. Amid Healthcare Vote

As the Senate voted to proceed with debate on repealing Obamacare—with no viable replacement bill on hand—hundreds of protesters flooded D.C. in opposition. Jeff Stein, congressional reporter for Vox, has been tweeting all day about protestors flooding flooding the Hart Senate Office Building. This includes several ADAPT Members from Rochester, Boston, Chicago and Arkansas. The scene is especially heartbreaking as many of the protesters are actually in wheelchairs and their health is clearly dependent upon Obamacare not being repealed.
It’s expected that several arrests will be made before the end of the day. Check out some of the footage below.
