El and the Gang Challenge Demodogs in New Promo Art for Stranger Things Mazes at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

Not one to miss out on some corporate synergy, Universal has unveiled new promo art for Stranger Things-themed mazes at the resorts’ Halloween Horror Nights. The one-sheet was whipped up by series illustrator Kyle Lambert, and features a selection of characters from the Netflix horror hit squaring off against familiar Upside Down foes like demodogs and menacing tendrils of doom. Notably missing are the true stars of season three, Steve (Joe Keery) and Robin (Maya Hawke). Make that happen, Universal.
This year’s mazes—picture haunted house attractions ratcheted up to 11—will follow plot points from both the second and just-released third chapters of the sci-fi nostalgia-fest. Attendees of Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will dive deep into the mythology of Stranger Things and its settings: the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, and the alternate universe that is “The Upside Down.”
Halloween Horror Nights kick off Sept. 6 in Orlando and Sept. 13 in Hollywood. Tickets are available here. Check out the new art below.
