Gilmore Girls May Be Coming Back for More on Netflix

After the resurgence of Gilmore Girls with Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, many wondered if that was the final nail in the coffin for the beloved series. Well, maybe not quite: Netflix has reportedly had very preliminary talks about more episodes.

Ted Sarandos, the head honcho at Netflix, told the Press Association, “The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that.”

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life came to Netflix last November, providing an “ending” to the story they were unable to conclude in the original series. When asked about the possibility of more from the series, Alexis Bledel said, “The only thing I can say about a future installment of the show would be that it would be about the story and certainly the timing. We want to tell a great story.”

So yeah, it’s very possible that we could return to Star’s Hollow relatively soon. You can watch Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on Netflix now, if you haven’t already.
